The food had a nice range of choices and worked well for both adults and kids. The whole place felt peaceful, safe and welcoming, which made it a good setting for a family holiday. Our rooms were clean, roomy and comfortable, and the calm surroundings of Shimla made it easy to unwind. We were traveling with our child, and the staff were patient, caring and always ready to help. They made sure our kid was comfortable, which took a lot of stress out of the trip for us. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and felt at home. The resort also seemed thoughtfully set up for families, with comfort, safety and convenience in mind. We came away with some lovely memories and would gladly recommend it to families with children. We hope to come back.

The food was tasty and hygienic, with a good range of options, and the well-kept grounds invite you to enjoy some quiet time outside. Shimla British Resort has a calm feel, tucked into greenery away from the busy city. It also has the old British colonial character of Shimla. Our room was clean, spacious and well maintained, with warm wooden interiors and large windows looking toward the surrounding hills. The staff were courteous, attentive and happy to help. It's a comfortable choice for anyone wanting a peaceful stay in Shimla, including families and couples.

We came as an office group, and the team looked after us so well. The staff worked hard, kept smiling and provided great facilities. Every detail seemed carefully taken care of, and the food was amazing. We felt so at home that it never seemed like we were away from home. The property dates back to 1893 and was maintained beautifully. I enjoyed the resort even more than the rest of my trip. This was my first time in Shimla. I found the resort through a Google search, then called, and Ji spoke to me very kindly. We loved our stay so much that I can't imagine visiting Shimla without staying here. We love you guys, you made our trip so enjoyable.

A shuttle to Mall Road at regular times would make this place even better. A taxi costs 500 INR, which feels like a lot. Otherwise, it's a cosy place with very polite, hospitable staff and good food. It seems especially suitable for larger groups, and I'd recommend a visit.

Our dog was welcomed as part of the family. He could enjoy the open lawns without a leash, and everyone was gentle with him. Their lovely dog, Marshall, was another highlight. The managers and staff were genuinely welcoming and made sure we were comfortable. We did notice there could be more staff available during room service hours, though the team handled things with care and that didn't spoil our stay. The food, peaceful atmosphere and quiet charm of the building all made it memorable. Set among Pine & Cedar trees, the green, quiet location and old-world character gave us a real chance to slow down. We'd love to return.
