Hotel Sai Grand Castle Inn

The room itself was in bad shape: the flush didn’t work, towels had black marks, and the vessels had food stains. The outdoor benches were worn and dirty, and didn’t seem safe. Even a normal 60 kg weight couldn’t be supported properly. We’d booked with an elderly family member in mind, expecting comfort and accessibility, but the lift wasn’t working. It made getting around extremely difficult, and he couldn’t go for Shirdi Sai Baba darshan, the main reason for our trip. The hotel could have avoided this by telling us beforehand or maintaining basic facilities. Wi-Fi was listed with the booking, but when we asked for the password, staff rudely told us to use our own network. Some guests weren’t from India and needed internet for business, which just added stress. Poor service, poor hygiene, and no consideration for guests, especially older people. It ruined what was meant to be a peaceful, spiritual trip. I strongly wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The rooms and bedding were dirty, the bathroom was unhygienic, and they didn’t change the bedding for three days. The bedding we were given was already dirty. There was no service to speak of, the staff were rude, and they wouldn’t even provide complimentary water. For your information, two water bottles per day are supposed to be complimentary with room service. This was one of the worst hotels in Shirdi. People may say positive reviews are fake, but bad reviews from guests who’ve actually stayed there aren’t fake. The service was pathetic. Don’t book here or waste your money.

It’s only a five-minute walk to the mandir premises, which is very convenient. The room was okay, with basic cleanliness. Fine for a single night.
