I'd book Sai Kamal again, because the staff's good intentions and willingness to help came through. They were very polite, though some basic service training was missing. At breakfast, for example, coffee sugar packets and a stirrer were put on my used plate, and room service arrived with two portions on one large plate. The reception could also have shared information more clearly. We only found out on our third evening that limited room service runs 24x7. Nobody let us know when breakfast was delayed or when it switched from a buffet to table service. These are small things, but they matter to the overall experience, which is why I gave four stars instead of five.

What made our one-night stay easy was the location. Sai Prasadalay is a short walk away, and after lunch there we caught a shared rickshaw straight to the main Sai Baba temple for ₹10 per person. It was a simple way to get around without worrying about parking or transport. Our room was much larger than we expected for the price, with space for our luggage, a comfortable bed, a clean washroom, good ventilation, and the basic things we needed. The AC worked well and the Wi-Fi was good. Power cuts happened often, though the backup meant we barely noticed. There was also an EV charging station, one of only a few in Shirdi. My wife and I found the staff welcoming from check-in onward. They were polite and quick to help with directions, tea, or extra towels. The surroundings were quiet, and the stay felt comfortable and well managed. We had a peaceful visit and would stay here again.

The hotel looks a little old, though it seems reasonably maintained and works for a budget stay. It has charging stations, so several EVs can charge at the same time without needing to wait and do it separately.
