Hotel Palkhi by OYO Rooms

The main plus is how close it is to the temple, though there are plenty of other hotels nearby. As with hotels in this area, there’s no parking, so you have to use private parking 300-400m away, at 40 rupees for 12 hours. Our rooms and washrooms weren’t cleaned properly, and the furniture was nearly broken. There was no soap in the bathroom. They said hot water would be available at 4 AM, but it only came after 5:30, following an argument. We had three rooms and got hot water in just two.

The one thing in this hotel’s favor is its proximity to the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple. Our stay at Hotel Palkhi was otherwise pathetic. The rooms weren’t kept to even a decent standard, and most of the accessories and electronics didn’t work. Staff treated customers with a careless, irresponsible attitude.

The WC and bathroom were untidy, and the rooms weren’t clean either. It was a bad experience, and I can’t recommend staying here.

The owner was rude and said there was no water. There wasn’t water in the shower, flush, or jetspray, and when I asked for soap, he told me to get it from a shop. The bedsheet had insects on it, the mattress was poor, the AC seemed to be there for show, and even the mug was broken. The service was awful. Our rickshaw driver brought us here just for commission. I’d give it minus five out of ten. A footpath would be better.
