Oyo 36289 Hotel Maurvi

In khatu, this was the worst hotel I found. The owner was extremely rude, and the staff spoke to customers in a rude, unpleasant way too.

The room was filthy, with ants and bugs everywhere, and the bedsheets were dirty. Staff refused to change them. The doors didn’t lock properly, and the corridor and stairwell had no lights. There was no inverter connection for the fans either. The A/C was very noisy and barely worked, while the food was stale and awful. Staff were strange and rude, treated us badly, and asked us to move rooms in the middle of the night. A waste of money.

Right beside the khatu temple, this iconic hotel has a great location.

We arrived to check in with a confirmed booking, only to be told there were no rooms. There was no hand wash or soap by the basin, and no lift, yet they offered a second-floor room to a senior citizen. When we asked for milk for our infant, none was available, and staff told us to wait until evening for infant food. The food was poor in both quality and quantity, and the staff were very rude. If you’re planning to visit Khatu, avoid this hotel altogether.
