Mr. Joy was especially helpful, and the staff were supportive throughout. We had a great time. The property does feel old and needs better upkeep or renovation, particularly around the water park. Still, it was a nice experience overall.

We enjoyed the riverside path and the garden next to the resort, and the location worked well for us. Joy looked after us nicely in the restaurant and handled our requests well. The water park is a concern: it's small, dated, and has broken sections, so the slides could hurt you or your kids. It needs renovation or replacement. It also only opens for two hours in the evening, not all day. Our stay itself was good.

The pool water was dirty, and the toilet and bathroom beside the pool were in unacceptable shape. Inside the room, the TV didn't work and the AC shut off in the middle of the night, which was very uncomfortable. We paid ₹10,500 per night, but room service didn't answer even after repeated calls. There was no buffet dinner as expected, and the staff seemed inattentive and unprofessional. The booking confirmation was also clearly mismanaged. This was a deeply disappointing stay and nowhere near worth the price. Based on what I experienced, I wouldn't recommend DGV Resort, Silvassa.
