Hotel Sun Plaza

Our room was huge and had a big terrace, and the hotel also has a playground for kids. There's an Honest restaurant on the premises, and we really liked the food. The hotel is right on the main highway. Somnath temple is 2-3 kms away and easy to reach by car, with plenty of parking at the temple.

Hotel Sun Plaza in Somnath gave us a positive experience. The room was clean, and the staff were cooperative and helpful. Their prompt, reliable service made the stay feel good.

The rooms were satisfactory, with really good in-room service. There's a small play area to keep children busy, and an Honest restaurant beside the hotel, though I found it costly. The hotel is a little away from the main temple, about 3-4km by road, but the surroundings are pleasant compared with the congested area around the temple. Service was next level. Sanchil, Nawaz,Dhiraj and Uday were young but knew how to look after customers. They accommodated me at odd hours and helped even after I checked out. Thanks to the management for a wonderful stay. I'd suggest keeping a spare room open for customers who need to manage their time with a toilet. That would help a lot with customer satisfaction.

The staff were polite and very supportive, and having an honest in the same hotel meant you could order from honest. There are also several restaurants within walking distance. The place is fine for a stay with friends or family, and an auto to the temple takes around 10 minutes and costs about 70-80 rs. It's on the Somnath Bypass main road, though the long U-turn means you pay extra for an auto. You can walk from the opposite side if you can. We booked online and got the best room rates. The hotel and its accessories seem old, and the bathrooms have a dated style.
