Hotel Sunshine Inn

It doesn’t cost all that much, and being close to the temple is handy. The rooms are really spacious, and the staff were very courteous. I usually don’t write reviews, but I felt like doing it for this hotel. Excellent 👌🏻

There are plenty of restaurants you can reach on foot, and otherwise everything was fine. The room was spacious, as was the bathroom, though its floor wasn’t sloped correctly and water collected there. The location is okay, but since the hotel is on the highway, getting an auto or rickshaw to the mandir isn’t easy.

I was on the 6th floor and found the room clean, new, and very spacious. It’s on the highway, about 3 km from the temple and other places, with plenty of restaurant choices within walking distance, as well as the hotel’s own in-house restaurant. I had a comfortable stay. One thing to know: there’s no garden in front, despite how it’s shown, so if you specifically want somewhere to stroll in a garden, this may not suit you.

The food package was a huge letdown. We paid Rs6700/- for lunch or dinner plus a breakfast buffet, but dinner wasn’t a buffet at all. They said to tell them what we wanted and they’d arrange it, yet tandoor items weren’t available. Breakfast meant just poha and puri bhaji. Har Har Mahadev, right opposite, had great food at affordable prices, so I’d skip the hotel’s food options and book a room only if it’s available for Rs 2000-2500. Our room was disappointing too. The bedsheet and duvet were wrinkled, and the replacements were also wrinkled and dirty. The TV didn’t work, and there was no kettle or tea and coffee sachets, though we were being charged for amenities. There wasn’t a manager on site to complain to, and the staff were trying to cover for the owners’ and managers’ shortcomings. When we raised issues, they kept saying, “We have newly started.” Complete disappointment.
