The room price felt a little steep for the accommodation. Our room was comfortable, but its quality didn't quite seem to match the tariff, and some improvements there would help. Even so, the sea view from the backside was breathtaking, and the surroundings made for a very calm break. Getting to the beach was easy, so we could take slow walks and spend quiet moments by the water. The resort's food was delicious, from local dishes to international options. Agonda Shell Beach Resort is still a place I'd recommend to families or friends who want peaceful natural surroundings, good food, and easy beach access.

We ended up extending our stay, and they gave us a good discount. The rooms felt worth what we paid, though being right by the beach means you can't expect everything to be spotless. We had a great time, with fantastic views, a very clean beach, and a location that works well for kids. The restaurant was really good too.

The resort has a lovely spot right on the beach, welcomes pets, and the staff were nice. The rooms are on the small side and haven't been kept up very well. The website says sea-facing rooms come with a fridge and bathroom hooks for clothes, but ours had neither. Food was disappointing: the menu was very limited, and the dishes felt overpriced for what you got. Nearby restaurants are a much better bet for food.

The cottage was only the second one from the beach and felt luxurious and very comfortable. Everything around the resort was neat, clean, and well maintained. When we had trouble with the AC, they quickly called a service person and got it fixed. The staff were helpful and accommodating, and we had no security concerns. Breakfast came with our package. The menu was good but limited, and we tried everything on it during our three nights. Their Set English breakfast was my favourite. On our first day's lunch we had Pinacolada and Sex on the beach cocktails, both amazing, plus Thai Veg Green Curry with steamed rice, which was just okay. Watching sunset from their Shack with a drink was lovely. Highly recommended for a great vibe and stay. We came to Goa in the 1st week of April after a friend who'd visited in February recommended the place. He'd really liked its vibe, and we enjoyed it too.

The beach and view were lovely, and the staff behaviour and ambience were good. The resort is well maintained, with private beach access, its own restaurant, and lots of shacks and cafés nearby. Our room was also well kept. A few cockroaches showed up at night, which was disappointing, and there seemed to be a staff shortage. It could be a difficult stay in rainy weather. Still, we had a good visit and might return.
