The whole hotel, from reception onward, smelled of cigarettes, and the service was very poor. The washrooms and fridge smelled and hadn't been cleaned, and there was no bucket for bathing. We saw cockroaches and rats. There was no fan in the room, and in the few rooms that had one, it didn't work. After my terrible experience, I wouldn't recommend this hotel for a family stay.

The rooms were in very poor shape, with cockroaches around and awful linens. Breakfast was useless and disappointing. The one bright spot was the manager, Ms Susmita, who was resourceful and managed to get some cleaning done. Otherwise, we were ready to leave on the very day we checked in.

Room 204 had a sewer-like smell in the bathroom, and some kind of gas seemed to leak after every flush. It made the stay unpleasant. After two days, I was moved to another room of similar size, which was OK. I asked for a refund for those two days, but they refused and offered a smaller room instead, which felt like my only option. There didn't seem to be many staff, with one person handling housekeeping, management, and everything else. Fab customer care tried to help, but mostly passed the issue around. I got another room only after threatening to complain to the consumer forum. For a Fab affiliated hotel, this was disappointing. I've stayed at a Fab hotel on Silk Road in bangalore, and it was fabulous. Here, they charged for breakfast, didn't serve it, and later refunded the breakfast amount.

The rooms were good and spacious, and the manager was very polite and helpful. Breakfast was included in my stay but wasn't available because the restaurant was under maintenance. They returned the money, though. I enjoyed my stay here.
