The resort itself was excellent, with well-kept facilities, quality service, and warm hospitality. Everything from the accommodation to the general atmosphere felt organized and better than expected. I spent 5 days at Karma Royal Palms and had a lovely time. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well cared for, with a handy kitchen setup. There’s a pool, gym, and spa, plus live music and a bar by the pool that add to the atmosphere. The place is thoughtfully arranged, and the staff were friendly throughout. A relaxing, memorable Goa stay, and one I’d recommend.

The check-in timing was the main downside. The receptionist said 3PM, while the booklet and rules list 4PM, with checkout at 12PM. The waiting room before check-in is small, but it’s the coolest room inside. The property is well maintained, with plenty of car parking, though two-wheeler parking is outside. Food can be expensive if you’re not a Karma member. The pool works well for a swim because nearby buildings shade it before 10AM and after 5 PM, and the water isn’t cold. Kids can enjoy it for a long time. The recreation room is also in good shape, with a ball pit, a small kids’ roller coaster, 2 PS consoles with FIFA, WWE, NFS, a TT table with average bats, and a pool table. Karma Hathi Mahal is much larger and better, but also quite expensive. It has 3 pools and several jacuzzis.

We’ve been coming here many times, starting more than 33 years ago, and it’s a place where all ages in a family can have fun. The resort has added amenities over time, including good parking, and the service has always been excellent. The public areas and property are kept clean. Noise varies. We were first in 9 3 add chicken, then after one night moved to 25 blocks 789, where there were lots of children shouting. They’re on holiday, and the resort does cater to all ages and lets them enjoy themselves. The spa is professional and has good packages. Radhika Puja and the other resort staff are very good. Breakfast at the restaurant is amazing, with a variety of cut fruit, idli, dosa, and a live omelette counter. Ronald and the staff have a great attitude and provide very good service. I’d recommend Royal Palms to everyone. It lives up to its legacy and keeps up the Royal experience.
