La Ben is quiet and an easy walk from Colva Beach, with shops, restaurants, and local transport nearby. I found it peaceful to return to after being out, and the beach was close enough for walks in the morning, sunsets, or a bit of beach time. My room was spacious, clean, well aired, and kept up regularly. The bed was comfortable, and everything felt hygienic. The staff and management were warm, polite, and quick to help when I needed something. I found it good value and a comfortable place for a peaceful South Goa stay. I'd be happy to come back on another visit.

The receptionist was helpful and cooperative, and having a digital locker in the room was useful. The hotel is also close to the beach, which was a plus. I stayed for two days, but the room wasn't comfortable. The instant water heater sent hot water through the shower, which felt risky. There was no toilet paper or handwash, and ants were all over the room. The food was very expensive compared with other restaurants. We ordered a vegetable platter, and it cost a lot but had no taste.

The room was a medium size and housekeeping cleaned it nicely. They also repaired the toilet light after I reported it. Service was really poor. There was no room service until 1300 hrs, and I couldn't get morning tea through room service. The room had no kettle, and they refused to provide one when I asked. The hotel wouldn't give me hot water to make tea or tea itself, so breakfast meant going outside.

The rooms are basic, and mine had dust on the floor. I'd only stay here if there were no other options near colava beach. I forgot something at the hotel. The woman at reception said she'd send it to me at my expense, but she never did and stopped answering my calls. The staff and management had a petty attitude.
