The room was really spacious, even enough to fit a child in the bed with you, and the bathroom was large too. It’s very close to the beach. Compared with many beachfront villas in pallolem, which can be cramped or near the kitchen and smell of cooking, ourem palace is a separate, roomy villa.

The food surprised us in a good way, with a nice selection on the menu, and the sea view and scenery were beautiful. We stayed two nights, and the owner and staff were very helpful. They could arrange whatever we needed for sightseeing and travel. The rooms were spacious too. Good value for money if you’re planning to stay in south Goa.

The bar staff were friendly, but hot water wasn’t always available. The rooms are basic and could use a bit of a refresh, and tidying up the immediate surroundings would make the stay feel more special. We visited over New Year, when the higher prices were understandable. Even at the usual rates, though, it still feels too expensive for what you get.

There’s lots of open space and nature here, with plenty of privacy, and everything felt just right. The owner and whole staff are helpful. If you want a peaceful, open place near Palolem Beach, this is a great choice. There’s also another private beach beside the resort.

The staff were polite and cooperative. We spent one day in an older room and another in one of the newly built rooms, which are five-star.
