Rama Resort

The relaxed atmosphere at Rama Resort Agonda Beach made this a fantastic getaway. I really enjoyed my time there and can’t wait to come back soon. Highly recommend it for a memorable holiday.

I’ve been coming back to Rama Resort for 8 years, but my visit this year was during the non-peak time and the service wasn’t as good as it used to be. The food taste and quality get 5 points, though service was very slow. The property needs a revamp and better upkeep. The room condition gets 1 point. The AC kept making the room either too cold or too hot, and its location made that worse. I couldn’t charge more than one phone at once because the other ports didn’t work. The bathroom door lock was broken, so the rest of us had to wait outside whenever someone used it. The bedsheets were very rough, cleaning wasn’t good, and there were lizards in the room and bathroom. There were too many mosquitoes, and the common area should be cleaned more often. They’ve removed the beachside relaxing chairs, it seems they sold them to the resort next door. They also extended the deck shed, which wasn’t a good change. The ambience was poor too. If you’re looking at resorts, check other options.

We stayed in a beach facing cottage and the view was mesmerizing. The location is superb, the food is good, and the staff are friendly. Rates are reasonable too. A must-stay in Agonda.

The cottages were clean and surrounded by greenery right next to the beach, and the location is top notch. The only drawback was no TV in the room. There was just AC and light. We paid around 5000 per day in March, though the price will vary by timeline.
