Regenta Baywatch Resort Goa

The whole family had a lovely stay at BayWatch. My dad had suggested it after visiting for photography, and Simran was helpful from my first chats with her. I was worried my 3-year-old would get bored with only the pool, so she found him books and colouring supplies. He was very happy with those. Shanta and her team kept the room in good shape and were easy to reach whenever we needed cleaning. The food and service were great. The chefs even made pasta for my son, though it wasn’t on the buffet. Thanks to Hayden, Akshay Narayan, Ronnen, Anthony, George, Nixon, Imran, Manthan, Priya, the chefs, and the maintenance team, who were always smiling. Saloni made check-in smooth, and Savio let us stay longer. Thanks to everyone for making it memorable. We hope to come back soon.

Families may find the suites more comfortable than standard rooms, since they have a separate living area and more space. There’s also a games room with billiards and table tennis, plus a play area for kids. Sernabatim Beach is about a 5-7 minute walk away. It’s quieter and cleaner than the main Colva stretch, which makes for a peaceful family beach day. The resort’s large, multi-level pool is a popular place for friends to gather. At Pams, the buffet offers Indian and international dishes, including vegetarian choices, with enough variety for different tastes.

We came as 17 families for a course reunion, and Baywatch Regenta managed the group well. We held the celebrations in the Oscar banquet hall, where a projector and a DJ, at extra cost, made the event especially enjoyable. Mr. Omkar helped make it a success with wonderful hospitality, and Mr. Justin was supportive too. There are two kinds of pools overlooking green lawns, and the sister property by the beach is about 200 metres away. Buggy service runs throughout the day, which was convenient. The hotel has three room categories, all comfortable and thoughtfully designed, with enough linen and small balconies. Rooms near the pool may be a good choice for convenience and atmosphere. We ate all our meals there, including morning and evening high tea, and found the spread satisfying. Service sometimes needed a follow-up, but the staff were supportive overall. We chose the hotel for its closeness to the beach and were glad we did. It was a memorable stay, and I’d visit again.

We first booked Regenta Beach house in Benaulim for its excellent location and private beach, but the rooms were a letdown. The temporary structure smelled damp, and the rooms felt like containers reached by iron stairs. The lawns might work well for corporate parties, though. We asked to move and were shifted to Regenta BayWatch, a villa-style resort. It was clean, with a good breakfast and pool, though the air conditioning in room 815 was very old and didn’t work properly. Cavin arranged a packed breakfast for our 3 am checkout without us even asking. He included sandwiches, water, and enough cut fruit for four people. A thoughtful gesture.
