Regenta Beach House Resort, Goa

The location and the staff’s attitude were the only positives. The rooms feel like portable labour camps converted into a hotel. When someone walks on the first floor, guests on the group floor can hear the noise and feel the vibration. There’s no restaurant on site either. Food is brought in from Baywatch hotel, about 500 metres away.

The rooms themselves were good, and the setting with direct access to the private beach was worthwhile. But service was extremely poor, and the food wasn’t good. I couldn’t tell whether they were short-staffed or just badly trained. The property also seemed poorly maintained and very unprofessional, so honestly our stay wasn’t great.

We were upset when we first found problems with our room, but the team took initiative, fixed things, and worked to give us a good stay. The warm hospitality from the staff really stood out. Special thanks to Mahima, Mr. Vikram, and Gayle. The resort is beautifully landscaped, and our room was spacious and spotless. It’s just steps from a clean, quiet private beach, great for walks, sunrise views, or simply listening to the waves. Breakfast is served in the in-house restaurant facing the beach. The staff also helped arrange transport for local sightseeing, and there are beach shacks within walking distance. A lovely beachside getaway.

Our trip was with friends, but I’d love to come back with my family. The property felt peaceful and never crowded, and the staff were warm, attentive, and quick to help. The rooms were spacious, everything was clean, and the food had plenty of tasty choices. The beach is a short walk away, so it’s easy to enjoy the sea without a long trip. For a comfortable, calm, well-kept stay in Goa with good food and service, this Regenta Beach Resort worked really well for us.
