A great hotel to have a nice rest before long walks around the city. Hotel "The HQ" is located in South Goa. This hotel is located in 28 km from the city center. You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel. Places nearby: Baina Beach, Miramar Beach and Fort Aguada.

The HQ Hotel was about 150-200 mts from the station, which made it a convenient choice before our early train. Staff were polite and friendly at check-in and checkout. Around 10 pm, music and partying started in the neighboring room and startled us. Reception tried calling them but couldn't reach anyone. The staff quickly offered us another room, and we agreed so we could have some quiet. They upgraded us to a SUITE ROOM, which surprised me. I told my wife, "That must be the Favour from GOD." She was excited to take pictures, and we left the hotel a handwritten thank-you note for their quick response and kind gesture. We didn't meet the people we spoke to on the phone that night, but the reception acted quickly. The HQ Hotel is lucky to have such kind staff, who will bring more people to stay there. “Best Hotel in GOA”

The bed was comfortable, and the food was great. I had dinner in my room a couple of times because smokers were in the restaurant, and breakfast was good too. But there was a lot of street noise, mould in the bathroom, especially along the bottom of the bathroom door, and ripped net curtains. The tissue box had only two tissues, and there wasn't enough toilet paper. This definitely doesn't feel like an International 4 star hotel. I wouldn't choose to stay here again.

The room was comfortable overall, with a great shower, and the staff were pleasant and courteous. Breakfast had a good variety too. The hotel is well maintained and close to the airport. But I couldn't manage staying there because a nearby train honked every few minutes all night, and the road was noisy too.

For a short visit like mine, this is a good hotel. The room service, restaurant, and other services were all very good. I asked the hotel for a driver to show me around Goa, and I'm glad they arranged Mr. Raju. He was ready to come whenever needed, took me around, and explained every landmark. I'm very happy with the service. Thank you.

I spent 15 days in Goa during IEW 2026, including a week at The HQ Hotel. I visited different parts of Goa and ate out, but the hotel's meals stood out as especially delicious and very reasonably priced.
