Hotel Klassic Gold

The room itself was pretty good, but the staff were very rude. First, they refused to accept our IDs by email or WhatsApp. We asked if we could show them in the room since they were in a purse inside our bag, but they insisted we hand them over right then. At 02.00 am they demanded payment immediately. We asked to pay at checkout, but the receptionist said they needed the money now. They had no POS machine when we offered an ATM card, and when we said we’d go to an ATM to withdraw money in the morning, they told us to go right away. They wouldn’t show us a room until we paid, and only agreed after a long argument. The blankets in all the rooms we saw were dirty. Staff said they’d change them after we paid the room rent, but after we paid, they wouldn’t listen to anything. The washroom light didn’t work; we asked three times to have it fixed, and nothing was done. We called for a water bottle and it never came, but they added a charge for it. The reception is in the basement and our room was on the third floor. They hadn’t turned on the lift, so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. Very rude behaviour. It’s up to you whether you go or not.
