Ramas Residency

The manager was very rude, and the room itself had poor ventilation, lots of cockroaches, a leaking AC outlet pipe, and bad toilets. The AC was running but didn't feel like it was cooling, and hotel management controlled it. When the power went out, they wouldn't turn it on using the generator. Management kept saying whatever they wanted about the AC. We went straight to reception and rented two rooms, and I still wonder why OYO selects hotels like this. Does OYO have any standards? This has made me think twice about booking OYO rooms in future.

A dog barked through the night and kept me from sleeping. I also had to call the front desk to get the AC started. The blanket smelled bad, though they replaced it after I complained. There were no towels or soap in the room, and you had to ask for everything. The sink area had no lights, and exposed electrical wires there felt unsafe.

We booked for six people, but they only provided beds for five. Our requests for a sixth bed went nowhere. The place was full of mosquitoes, and the sheets and pillow covers were old and looked like they'd been used forever. The bathrooms weren't clean and there were no toiletries. The photos on OYO fooled us. This isn't the two-star place it claims to be, it's a dingy, unclean, smelly lodge.

The non-AC rooms were badly ventilated and very hot. Reception management was rude, and I felt they were trying to take money under the guise of a security deposit. When we checked out, they didn't return the deposit. I'd tell people not to stay here. Very disappointed.
