Even in the freezing Kashmir weather, the rooms were warm, cozy and spotless, and everything was very clean and well managed. The food tasted home cooked and was delicious. What I appreciated most was the warm, caring hospitality. If you want a cozy, authentic stay in Kashmir, I’d highly recommend this houseboat.

The traditional wooden interiors were lovely, and the rooms were clean. Staff were helpful and the hospitality was good. It was a memorable stay, with a very peaceful location and a beautiful lake view, especially in the morning and at sunset. Definitely recommend.

Aqib was quick and efficient, sorting out all our requests, and the food was excellent. We had a few issues at first, but they were dealt with straight away and things were great afterward. The one ongoing difficulty was being woken by the Call to Prayer at 6am each day, though the houseboat staff can’t be blamed for that. The sunsets, birdsong and calm lake view were wonderful.

We had a great experience with the boat’s hospitality all around. Mr. Aftab is very kind and polite, and his behaviour is really attractive. The boat is beautiful and has all the important amenities. Mr.Bilal on the staff works hard and has a good personality. I will must visit again.

The staff were very good and hosted us so well. The stay was beautiful, hygienic and well maintained, and the food was delicious. Definitely recommend visiting.
