The location is very remote, with no practical transport access, and the helpdesk staff couldn’t understand English. Service was pathetic, the sheets were stained and dirty, and the rooms and bathrooms were awful. There wasn’t even a washbasin in the bathroom. The worst Oyo I’ve stayed in. Avoid it at all costs.
The bed, lighting, TV, and AC were okay, but the bathroom was in terrible shape and leaking in multiple places. The door handles were broken too. The complimentary breakfast was awful, apparently from a small roadside shop. It’s in a secluded part of Urapakkam and clearly hasn’t been maintained properly by Oyo.
The room was pretty standard for this area, so staying there was fine. The property sits a little inland, and the food they serve didn’t meet the standard. I could hear conversations from our room outside, so there wasn’t much privacy. That was my experience in the room we stayed in; I can’t speak for the others.
If you have work at SRM, this could be a convenient choice, since the hotel can arrange cabs. The rooms themselves are good, though the building feels more like an apartment block than a hotel, and it’s in a rural village area.
It’s in a remote area, but I still really enjoyed staying here. The staff listen carefully to everything you tell them and are very nice. I loved the place.
