Biznotel by Pride Surat

The location didn’t feel safe or reliable to us. The hotel sits above a convenience store and other small shops, and random people just walk in. We stayed four nights, and every one came with terrible service. The rooms were disgusting and not clean; ours wasn’t ready at check-in, despite what they claim. They gave us a dirty room that smelled of cigarettes and trash. The sheets and towels had been used by previous guests and weren’t changed. With people coming for weddings and events at the nearby banquet hall, the hotel is constantly full, and staff don’t seem to clean rooms after checkout. The manager was unresponsive and didn’t seem to care about the guests or cleanliness. Room service was poor too, with orders taking at least 30 minutes to an hour. Not worth the money, and a terrible experience.

The reception staff were helpful, and the rest of the service was good. The room and washrooms were maintained, but had a lot of design flaws. There was no fan regulator, and the plumbing was odd: the hot and cold lines seemed linked, so the water stayed hot unless the hot supply was fully shut off. Somehow hot water also reached the basin, so be careful or you could get blisters. It may just have been the room we stayed in.

Breakfast became a highlight thanks to Khalid’s cheerful, attentive service. Every day he went out of his way to make sure everything was right, including preparing no-onion, no-garlic options for us. He served the best Adrakh and elichibtea, and even made the tea himself on a few days. Nothing seemed like too much trouble for him, and he always greeted us with a big, genuine smile. Thank you, Khalid, for the warm hospitality and care!

The staff were warm and supportive, and the rooms were very nice. Had a great experience.
