Vivanna by OYO Rooms

We stayed from Tuesday evening until Wednesday morning, and it was a really bad experience. The hotel is inside an unfinished mall, with drilling going on from 9 in the morning until I had to leave. In the room, the geyser didn't work, the walls were a bit dirty, and they were so thin I could hear people next door talking. I wasn't expecting free breakfast, so that wasn't the issue. Room service fell short too: I had to ask three or four times before I got a towel. The TV had hardly ten channels. The management could've paid attention to these little things instead of making us sign in a dozen places before entering the room.

The rooms and bed setup are decent. To improve the service and the hotel's image, the reception desk should be set back from the door and stairs. Towels should be provided ahead of time, and getting the warm water working properly should be the first priority in winter. Thank you.

Booking ID GWCM2895 # I booked a room for 27th Nov 2019, making the reservation the day before, but when I arrived early the next morning they said no rooms were available despite my valid booking. They demanded an extra 30% for the late check-in. I refused and said I'd contact OYO, and they withdrew the charge. The room they then gave me had no lock, a very dirty bed, and a filthy bathroom. Staff were unfriendly, and they didn't even have a bath towel available. Pathetic service. They shouldn't be in this business.

The staff were very cooperative, and the room was neat and clean, though small. The hotel is just 5.5 km from the airport. There's a restaurant and street food within walking distance, plus departmental stores and a bakery in the same complex.
