This Havelock hotel completely ruined my mood, and I wouldn’t recommend it. There was a strong bad smell in the room, the mattress and bedsheet felt very rough, and the TV was hanging there like a showpiece and didn’t work. The AC wasn’t working either. There was barely a two-foot road to reach the hotel. We had no WiFi signal or mobile network, and they didn’t provide toiletries or dental kits.

The food was good, but the service was slow. They prepare all the dishes at once, so it’s better to place the whole order together. Asking for extra chapatis can make the wait much longer. The resort is about a kilometer from Radhanagar Beach. Rooms are decent but a bit small, and the staff service was lacking. I’d only consider staying if I could book it for under 2,000.

Mama khan at reception was extremely helpful and made sure everything went as planned. The stay and morning breakfast were excellent, though the water heater wasn’t working. Being very close to radhanagar beach is a big advantage.

We stayed for three nights. Everyone was friendly, though we sometimes had trouble understanding each other. As foreign visitors, it would have helped if someone had explained the food options a bit more. The room was nice, but a few things weren’t working properly, including the fan and shower.

The wooden cottages were cozy, with sea views, and I enjoyed the garden. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the resort is close to beautiful Radhanagar beach. It’s a relaxing spot to enjoy Havelock Island’s natural scenery. One serious exception: don’t choose the resort’s scuba or other water sport services. They were pathetic, and it’s easy to get cheated. Otherwise, I had a wonderful stay at Ocean Blue Resort and would recommend it to anyone after a peaceful, comfortable place.
