Ekawa Ganga by Lawrence Hotels

I especially appreciated the travel desk at Ekawa Ganga by Lawrence Hotel. It was convenient and well organized, and they handled travel information and arrangements smoothly. The staff were polite and helpful, and my room was clean and cozy. The hotel is well maintained and has a calm, comfortable feel. I had a pleasant stay, appreciated the hospitality, and would recommend it.

For a place calling itself four-star, this hotel is very basic. There were no basic toiletries like moisturizer or a hand towel in the bathroom. The receptionist, Ankit, was rude and kept changing what he said. For an extra bed, he first quoted 1000, then 2000 the next day, then 1500, and finally tried to negotiate to 1250. It felt like he was trying to get as much money as possible. He also charged Rs 87 for two water bottles marked at Rs 18 MRP each. We booked three rooms a month in advance, but he put us on three different floors, one room on each floor. He was doing the same to other guests too. The housekeeping staff refused to replace the used water glasses. Breakfast was very limited, just poha, sandwich, and aloo paratha, and they wouldn't serve hot tea or coffee. Avoid this hotel, they made sure to spoil our mood and vacation.

Hotel Ekawa Ganga is close to the holy Ganga, which gives it a peaceful, spiritual feel. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and soothing, and the staff were incredibly polite and went out of their way to make the stay memorable. From check-in, the hospitality was top-notch. It's a premium experience for good value, whether you're here on pilgrimage or for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommended for families or solo travelers. I'll definitely return.

The hotel is tucked away, and the last 300 metres are on a very narrow road with no street lights. Walking out alone at night could feel a little dangerous. There's construction beside the hotel, so it was noisy and dusty outside. The rooms are spacious and generally good, with an old, rustic look, and the staff service was good too. The phones in the rooms don't work.
