Our room had a large cockroach, and the power kept cutting out, so the AC did not work consistently. When we arrived, the lights stayed off for an hour. There was no soap or toilet paper until we asked. We were given a taxi arrival time, but when we checked with reception, they only then called the driver, and we ended up waiting an hour. Breakfast was poor and took an hour and a half to arrive. The staff were very unprofessional.

There is parking, and you can order food from outside since they don't provide food or water. The washrooms are just okay. Room 402 could work for a family group of 10 or more on a low budget. It has 12 beds, and they charge a maximum of 500 person.

The owner has changed. Do not book this place under the name of Vimal Ganga. I repeat, do not book it as Vimal Ganga. You'll be disappointed: with the new owner, you may not be given a room even if you've paid.

The elevator was off most of the time, and my family once got stuck in it. The AC remote didn't work, the ceiling fan regulator was missing, and the LED TV had no set-top box, so it didn't work. There's no kitchen on the premises, and there was a foul smell at reception because of a pet in the hostel. Not a good experience at all.

The rooms were extremely tidy and clean, and the new dorm was clean too, with a study light and fan for each bed. The staff were well behaved and supportive, especially manager ankit. They even accommodated us after a delayed checkout. We had a great stay, and rafting can be booked through the hotel as well.
