Jiva home

I regret not taking photos. The location is as good as it gets, and the prices are reasonable, much better than at other hotels. What made it feel like home was how helpful the staff were. They also rent scooties cheaply and without much hassle. If I come back to Rishikesh, I'll stay here again.

The rooms are spacious, and the staff respond quickly when you need something. The place is okay, though there's not much to brag about, and the washroom is very narrow even if it does the job. I wasn't happy with how clean the sheets were, and the room needs a proper cleanup.

I enjoyed chatting with the friendly, caring hosts, and Neem Beach is only about a 10 minute walk away. It's a good option for a couple of nights. The kitchen on the top floor needs to be modified and reopened so cooking there is comfortable and hassle free.

The owner was accommodating and friendly, let us check in early, and helped us plan trips in Rishikesh. Sleeping was difficult, though: light from the room's window falls right onto the bed, and the white covering should be replaced with dark colored cloth. Noise from anywhere in the house also carries into the room and can be very disturbing. The kitchen area needs improvement and a better cleaning.
