Punyah Residency

I’d happily come back. Nancsh and Anjali were especially efficient, kind, and helpful, and the room was cleaned every day with toiletries topped up regularly. It was one of the most comfortable places I stayed in India. The bright room had a balcony, and the shower had strong pressure with plenty of hot water. There was a kettle with tea and coffee, plus a room heater at no extra charge.

I’ve spent over 10 years staying in India, and this was one of my favorite places. The staff were the best part, from reception and the other workers to the restaurant team. Breakfast was very well served and had options for different tastes. The hotel itself is good, the price is very fair, and the location is wonderful. Thank you all.

The rooftop yoga shala is a lovely option if you want to practice with a view, and Punyah Café serves fresh, organic food. I especially enjoyed the varied breakfast buffet, with plenty of healthy and tasty choices. The staff were polite, professional, and keen to help. I stayed in a Premium Room with Balcony. It was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, with fresh bed linens and excellent amenities. The misty hills from the balcony were a refreshing sight. Punyah Residency has a peaceful feel while still being within a short walk of bustling Laxman Jhula and the Ganges. It sits on a quiet lane in Tapovan, away from city noise. The place balances modern luxury with Rishikesh’s spiritual atmosphere. I’d recommend it to families, couples, or solo travelers looking for a clean, calm, premium stay. I can’t wait to visit again.

Mr Naresh, the hotel manager, was phenomenally resourceful and arranged transportation, white water rafting, and sightseeing for our group of eight. The rooms were just right, and there was hot water around the clock. The location worked well for seeing the evening aarti at lakshman jhula. Mr Naresh can help arrange other places too. We loved the stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.
