The location is excellent, right by the roadside and near Srinagar. If you don't want to cover 200 kms on the way to Kedarnath in a single day, you can stop here. The restaurant has had a makeover, and the food is freshly prepared and served. Some rooms are being redeveloped, and the new ones coming up look really nice. It could also work well for planning a wedding.

Set in natural surroundings with a lovely river view, this peaceful riverside resort is a great spot to relax. It's on Badrinath Road near Shrinagar–Maletha, Uttarakhand. The service was very good and the food delicious. Nature lovers and photography fans will enjoy it.

On our way back to Haridwar, we stopped again and talked with the owner over coffee. He shared several stories about Panchkedar, and the coffee was on the house. Earlier, while we were heading to Kedarnath in the freezing winter, we'd stopped here and he gave us options for places to stay near Ukhimath, along with other useful insights. The owner and staff, especially Mr. Rajesh, were exceptionally warm. It's right on the highway, with a backyard garden facing the river, and felt like a comfortable, safe mid-trip stop for a meal or a night.

I was completely disappointed. The room was dirty, the food was tasteless, and service was poor, with staff behaving badly. There was no backup power when the electricity went out. I would never recommend booking this hotel.
