Treebo Naaz Royal

The rooms we booked for the family were clean and neat, and breakfast was included. But there’s no enclosed parking, just open parking on the road. The property has no kitchen, and the breakfast was brought from outside in awful packaging. It looked like it came from a local hotel. I’d suggest they stop offering breakfast for free if they don’t have a kitchen.

The room was clean, large, and spacious, and the staff were friendly without pestering us. Breakfast came packed to the room. Parking out front or beside the hotel should be manageable, and the Big Temple is about 5kms away.

The in-room breakfast notice promised choices Treebo apparently required them to display, but staff said those options weren't available. First I was told the menu was “for foreigners”; when I asked where it said that, the explanation changed to shops not opening until after 10. At 7 am, without asking us, they brought a tiffin meal in plastic pouches. We ate at 9, and it was cold. There was no milk powder or tea sachet in the room, and staff said they had no stock. The electric kettle didn't work either, and the tea bought from outside tasted weird. I've usually preferred Treebo when travelling, so this stay at treebo naaz Royal, tanjavur was a big disappointment.

The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Rooms were clean and neat, and breakfast can be brought to the room. It's 1 km from New Bus stand, 4.5 km from the Railway station, and 5.8 km from brihadheeshwara Temple. One of the best hotels in Thanjavur.
