Thai Beach Resort

The receptionist was rude and unprofessional, which made an already frustrating stay worse. We booked this place specifically for the pool, but the details given over the phone were unclear and misleading, so we arrived confused about important things that hadn’t been explained. Even so, there was no reduction or adjustment to the amount charged, which felt unfair. Poor communication and customer service made the stay unpleasant. I hope management handles inquiries more clearly and treats guests with more courtesy.

We were promised a pool when booking The Thai beach resort, but when we arrived, we were told it wasn’t available. It was so dirty and smelly that they hadn’t even considered cleaning it. Several other promised facilities or services were either unavailable or quite different from what we’d been told. The staff were rude, and the service fell below even basic standards for a place marketed as a relaxing beach stay. If something isn’t available, they should be honest about it. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. The service was really pathetic, and the quality doesn’t justify the high price.

For the price, I expected basic things like a restaurant and room service, but they weren’t available. The staff seemed unwilling to help us unpack or load our luggage into the car, so we did it ourselves. The stay was decent enough if that’s all you need, but I’d look at other hotels too, since some are cheaper and provide better room service.

We visited Murugan Temple on Monday and found it less crowded. The stay here was calm and nice, though the price is on the high side. It’s a good place, just don’t expect too much from the hotel.
