Hotel Arunachala

The slow, patchy WiFi was frustrating, and the price felt high, with a premium for the location that may not suit a strict budget. Still, the rooms were clean and service was professional. As someone visiting from North India, I especially appreciated the staff's hospitality. Apart from the internet, it was a solid and comfortable stay in a prime area.

The rooms and service were good, and the temple is very close. The issue was the rigid check-in and checkout schedule. Arriving early costs 1500 for 3 hours, which is relatively expensive and can be inconvenient for pilgrims travelling from other states.

After leaving me waiting for a full minute, the receptionist came back and rudely asked, "What were you saying?" She also falsely said she'd asked me to wait. It's a pity that someone so unresponsive and lacking compassion represents the hotel.

The rooms are spacious, with good facilities, and there's parking and a lift. The staff were friendly and cooperative. Rudraksh serves authentic South Indian food at good value. I tried their Cow milk kulfy candy and cranberry Goli soda. The location is especially handy for devotees, right next to thiruvannamalai Rajagopuram, 50 meters from the girivalam start place, 100 meters from first indralingam, and 30 meters from the Temple darshan queue. A good place to stay.
