Breakfast is a must, especially for the Udaipur delicacies. The hotel is opposite City Palace and close to all the sights, with rickshaw and car drop-offs available nearby. Our stay was comfortable and good. I liked the traditional structure alongside modern facilities like a lift and key card. It would've been best if the swimming pool had been working.

The terrace gives a 360° view of Udaipur and a great look at the city palace. We didn't try much of the restaurant food, but breakfast was good and had multiple options. Aaram Mahal really does offer comfort, and its spot right next to the city palace makes it well connected to Udaipur's main attractions. Gangour Ghat, the market, Gulab Bagh, City Palace, Krishna Daal Baati, Sai Baba paratha, and Jagdish Temple are within walking distance. There are also plenty of car and bike rental operators near the hotel. I'd definitely recommend it for a trip to Udaipur with loved ones.

City Palace is an easy walk from this clean, beautiful property, and you can see it from the rooms, which is a nice plus. The food was great too.

The manager let me check out up to two hours late, which I really needed. Rooms are spacious, well maintained, and have a nice aesthetic. The hotel is just outside the City Palace gate, so you can walk there anytime. There’s an auto stand below, and shared autos are often nearby with very nominal fares around the old city. For a private auto or cab, choose Ola or Uber. Complimentary breakfast was really good, but the lunch and dinner menu is limited and very expensive, so better to eat outside. Room service was okay, though they have limited staff.
