Bloom Boutique | Lake Pichola

The calm, comfortable atmosphere made it a nice place to relax after sightseeing, and the location was convenient for getting around Udaipur. Our room was spacious, including the bathroom, and the hotel was nicely done. Housekeeping came promptly, and the property stayed clean and well-maintained throughout our visit. The staff were warm, helpful, and took care of everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bloom Boutique, Udaipur, and would recommend it to anyone wanting a pleasant, comfortable stay.

We booked one of the best rooms and expected more from the stay. While taking photos inside the hotel, we were stopped by the manager, Mr. Narendra Goswami, who told us photography wasn’t allowed. That rule hadn’t been mentioned on the booking platform or website when we made the reservation. I also found the manager’s manner rude and unprofessional. Good rooms alone aren’t enough for hospitality, guests should be treated with courtesy and respect. I hope management takes this feedback positively and improves how policies are communicated and how guests are treated.

Bloom Boutique is right in the middle of the Old City, with the City Palace, famous Ghats such as Gangaur Ghat, heritage lanes, shops, and cafes all easy to reach on foot. It’s a great base for exploring Udaipur and getting a feel for the local culture. The hotel mixes modern "Bloom" branding with Udaipur’s heritage style. Rooms are bright, spotless, and surprisingly spacious for a boutique property in the Old City, where many hotels can feel cramped. The place is chic and well-maintained. I’d give the sightseeing location 10/10.

The breakfast selection was poor, but the rooftop and 3rd floor bar were lovely. Our room was small but nicely decorated, and the location was convenient. We had a good stay at Bloom Hotel, and the reception team, including Dushyant, was helpful.
