Czar Palace Resort Udaipur

The hotel had a calm, relaxing feel, and the staff and management helped make the stay memorable. My room at [AVEXIA ELITE] was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and very comfortable, with a nice mix of cozy and luxurious. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and had plenty of delicious choices. I’d recommend avexia elite resort to anyone wanting comfort, elegance, and top-class service.

A unique concept makes this stay feel special, and the room was tidy and just like the pictures. The staff were helpful and cooperative. It was a great experience, and I’d say it’s a must visit.

We planned an overnight trip to Udaipur with friends and asked about the resort’s services and amenities before booking. We were told everything was available, but once we arrived, even basic facilities were missing. The air conditioning in the rooms didn’t work, and one room’s TV was out of order. After our meal, room service wasn’t available, and staff took the plates and left them outside our room. When we raised the management problems, staff were rude instead of helpful and lied about the sequence of events. We were told the spa would be available later, but it never happened. The bonfire service wasn’t there either. We asked from 9 at night, then the next day the owner said they could have arranged one if we’d asked at midnight. There was no hot water for bathing. Of the two pools, one had dead insects floating in it, and the whole pool area was very unhygienic. After being rude, the owner said he didn’t know what had happened and couldn’t check, despite having lied about things. He then said he’d take better care of us next time. The experience was horrible, and none of us would visit this place again.

The resort is on the Udaipur-Ahmedabad highway, with plenty of space, a good layout, and lots of amenities. It seems to cater mainly to Gujarati travellers. We stayed on weekdays and had the place to ourselves. Upkeep could be better, and poor service hurt the experience: no towel in the room, a used washroom, a phone that didn’t work, no bedsheet for the extra bed, and dirty linens.
