The room wasn’t clean, and basic amenities weren’t properly provided. When I brought these problems up, nobody seemed responsible for fixing them or in any hurry to help. The staff were unsupportive and unprofessional, and management seemed careless about guest comfort. From arrival onward, my stay at Hibiscus Udaipur fell far short of what I expected from the hotel and its reputation. It was a very bad experience, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Udaipur.

We paid ₹ 7000 a night, and it didn't feel worth even ₹ 700. The service and location were poor, and there’s no lift, so be ready to hike up the stairs at Hibiscus. I don’t understand how they call themselves a 3 Star. If getting scammed sounds appealing, this might be the place for you. The mosque is right next to the hotel, and its call to prayer wakes you every morning around 4-5am.

For the price, the rooms look much better than at other places in the same range, so there’s no need to worry about aesthetics. They’re also really clean and well kept. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in.

There were seven of us, and we all liked staying here. The hostel had a calm, pleasant atmosphere, and the view from the third floor was really good. The staff were helpful and very nice. I’d recommend it if the chance came up.
