The rooftop restaurant was a highlight, with a great vibe and views, but it closes at 11pm, which felt early. Some areas could be cleaner, and service and hygiene could be better. Still, we had a good stay as a couple for our day trip to Udaipur, especially if you value the views and location. From our room, we had a gorgeous view of Fateh Sagar Lake, and the location was amazing. The interiors are old, but have a nice traditional Rajasthani charm.

We had a comfortable, budget-friendly stay at Inder Prakash Hotel in Udaipur. Its location is excellent, with easy access to major attractions and a peaceful setting. The staff were polite and ready to help with local information or requests. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The rooftop restaurant had a nice view and decent food options.

The room was nice and the view really is beautiful, so the stay felt worth the price for those things. The Punjabi food, though, was so bad it ruined my peace of mind. I ended up eating quietly while looking at the view and pretending it was fine. Stay for the view and photos, but I'd avoid the food.

Breakfast on the rooftop in the morning sun was the best part of our stay. The property faces the water, and the rooms have a luxurious feel, from the drawers and linen to the ethnic furniture, royal style windows, and paintings. The food, room, and bedding were all hygienic and worth it.

The rooms are spacious and look lovely, with a view of Fateh Sagar lake. The bathrooms need proper repairs or renovation, though. Some taps were broken, and the flush made a strange sound. The rooms could also use more lighting.
