Hotel Lake Star

We booked a cozy, comfortable luxury room with a balcony view for our three-day stay at Lake Star Bistro. It was clean and well maintained, and the staff were polite and helpful. The owner aunty was especially welcoming and treated us like family. The hotel’s location is perfect, with a beautiful view and Upre Café, Bagore Ki Haveli, Gangaur Ghat, and Khamma Ghani all a short walk away. It was totally worth it, and we’d definitely recommend staying here!

The rooftop restaurant and the view from there were the highlights, and most places we wanted to visit were close by. The room was quite good too, though the place feels more like a homestay. Thanks especially to Mr. Faizal, who was helpful and supportive and got our room ready on time, so we weren’t greatly inconvenienced. There was confusion at check-in about my RedBus booking, which included two nights with breakfast. I was told to contact the booking platform, and after I called, the details were sorted out. It would help if the front desk were briefed on online reservations, since guests book that way to avoid hassles after travelling.

We planned to stay one night at Lake Star Bistro Hotel, then decided to extend. The owners were genuinely sweet, kind, and helpful. We did get offered pricier rooms, as some other reviewers have mentioned, but that was fine. We just politely said no and kept the room we’d booked online. The terrace overlooking the lake is especially beautiful, and the hotel is within walking distance of the City Palace and lake area. The rooms we used were clean and comfortable, with good facilities. Do expect to hear the mosque’s call to prayer, since the hotel is in a Muslim neighborhood. It didn’t bother us, but it’s useful to know ahead of time. We had a great stay and would happily return.

The staff made a lovely first impression, especially the receptionist, who was among the friendliest and most helpful I’ve come across. Dinner service was attentive and efficient, and the food was good value. My room was roomy, clean, stylish, comfortable, and well equipped. The hotel’s surroundings were beautiful, and everything about our stay felt exceptional. I was very pleased and hope to come back for longer.
