Hotel Ram Niwas

The food was delicious and well prepared, and the location is excellent. Staff were prompt, helpful, and very supportive. They also helped guests plan their itineraries, which was thoughtful.

A cheap, good option for families looking for a budget stay. They serve simple home-cooked food, which is a nice bonus if that's what you're after.

The staff are genuine people, and the location is mind-blowing. Thank you to Ramnivas hotel and staff for making our journey more comfortable.

My check-in time was 9:30 am, but when I arrived at 10:30 my room was still being cleaned. The manager offered another room to keep my luggage temporarily, and I agreed. I waited past noon for my room without being charged, then locked my luggage in that room and went to City palace. At about 2:30 pm, the manager called and spoke to me rudely, asking why I'd taken the key because the room wasn't mine. I said that if it wasn't my room, they should give me mine. He said cleaning was taking time. I explained I'd left my luggage there while visiting City palace. He then complained that I'd locked the room and asked where his next customer was supposed to go. I reminded him that he'd asked me to adjust and move my things to my room when I returned. He spoke badly to me and threatened me, saying to return the key or vacate. I came back to the hotel half an hour later, but the manager had gone somewhere. The other staff spoke nicely to me, and no new customer had arrived. I left at 3 pm because of the poor management and rude treatment, returned the key, and lost my 1500/ rupees.
