Hotel Wonder View Palace

The bathroom window is transparent, so someone outside can easily see you while you're in there. Room security was also very bad. The TV didn't work, and we paid GST without getting a GST bill. Room service took an hour and a half just to bring a simple coffee, and the staff were bad and arrogant. I wouldn't book this hotel for a family.

The location was great, the hotel staff were very hospitable, and the food was good.

The view was good, but the rooms weren't clean and were in bad condition. The food was awful too. I ordered hakka noodles, a basic Chinese dish, but got boiled noodles and vegetables with no salt.

The views were the only good part of this hotel. I chose it for them, but the stay was otherwise deeply disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend it, especially to anyone traveling with children. I was traveling with my young child and asked for a hot water kettle. They refused, offering instead to bring hot water to the room. Later, the manager rudely said they'd stop bringing it, accusing me of using it to make tea for myself rather than for my child. They also said guests couldn't bring in outside food because I hadn't ordered from their restaurant. I asked the owner to step in, but he just watched the exchange and dismissed it without addressing the issue. As a paying guest, I felt deeply disrespected and let down by the staff, the manager, and the owner. Guest satisfaction clearly wasn't a priority. If I could, I'd leave negative feedback for this stay.
