KHAKHRI HAVELI - A Boutique Hotel

The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, and the rooftop restaurant was a nice feature, especially with its view in the evening. The outside view of the property is also very good, and the area near Sajjangarh (Monsoon Palace) feels peaceful. The receptionist was polite and cooperative, and helpfully shared his personal contact number when the room landlines didn’t work and we couldn’t call reception directly. We had booked 5 rooms, but housekeeping seemed to have only 2-3 staff for the whole hotel, so service was delayed. Water bottles and towels weren’t in the rooms at first; we had to ask for these basics. Bathroom arrangements were inconvenient, with no shelf or stand for toiletries in some rooms. Hot water was inconsistent too: one room had it at the basin but not the shower, while another had it in the shower but not the basin. The hotel is outside the main city, so getting to sightseeing, food, and other activities takes quite a bit of travel, which can be tiring if you want to explore Udaipur extensively. We wouldn’t book here again. It might suit someone looking for a cheaper stay who is willing to compromise on service, amenities, and convenience. Better housekeeping, bathroom fittings, and reliable hot water, along with basic service standards, could make the experience much better.

The place felt beautiful and cozy, with a clean atmosphere and good vibes. The owner, especially harsh ji, and the staff were kind, welcoming, and ready to help. Everything from the service to the atmosphere made for a wonderful stay. Highly recommended!

The name “haveli” gives a nice impression, but the property was the opposite of that. The rooms smelled bad and had seepage, while the bathrooms were dirty and unhygienic. Furniture was damaged and had an unpleasant odor too. It didn’t feel comfortable or relaxing at all, and I wouldn’t spend money on this place. Think carefully before booking.

We had a very bad experience. Although we had a booking, the owner wouldn’t give us our rooms and then spoke rudely. We waited 8 hours before getting a room, and it was a lower category than the one we’d booked. It was in poor condition, with very dirty rooms and washrooms. We had to walk to another restaurant for breakfast the next morning. The senior staff were rude as well. I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone, even for free.
