Lal Ghat Guest House

The cleanliness and hygiene were the worst we've ever experienced. There were no complimentary drinks or anything, and even a cup of tea cost around ₹80 despite tasting bad and being low quality. There's no telephone in the room to order anything, so it's self-service only. I'd say don't come here. This is a very bad hotel.

We found this hotel by chance after a Rapido ride, and it turned out to be a gem. The lake is right next door, and the place felt clean, rustic, and homely enough that we didn't even need AC. I'm grateful to the driver who brought us here. The owner was hospitable, which helped make up for the restaurant being closed because of some issues. The popular shows are in the next building, City Palace is five minutes away, and most major spots are nearby. Prices are negotiable and felt totally worth it. I'd suggest staying at least one night.

The place is very small, with room for no more than six people. The food tasted really bad, the staff were rude and uncooperative, and service was poor. Worst experience.

The rooms and location were outstanding, but the service was really poor. There was no intercom for requests, so you had to go up and down to speak to staff. The food wasn't good either. We ordered egg fried rice, and there was so little egg you'd need a magnifying glass to find it.
