Mystical Valley View Resort and Spa, Udaipur

Our class 8 educational tour stayed at Mystical valley view resort, and we enjoyed our time there. The rooms were clean and the food was good. At our request, Mr. Soham Singh and the chef prepared Dal-Baati, Churma, and other well-known Rajasthani delicacies. I'm happy to share that we had a good stay at Valley view resort.

The location is a little far from places to visit, but the resort's ambience, rooms, and lawn were wonderful. There's a games room with a pool table, Fuseball, Carrom, and Tennis, plus a great breakfast with lots of options. The service was one of the best parts of our stay. Migma deserves special thanks for accommodating our early checkout and arranging food packages outside normal hours, which made our onward travel easier.

For 3-3.5k, this is a lot of resort for the money: there are gardens, a swimming pool, gym, spa, disc, indoor games, and a banquet space. The rooms are spacious, neat, well maintained, and equipped with amenities. The double beds are huge, big enough for three adults. Its location by the new Nathdwara-bypass highway also means you can avoid Udaipur's narrow, congested roads. You can pay for a bonfire in the garden and eat or just relax there, which is worth trying. A few things need work. The parking is outside on a dusty road, and after 1.5 days my grey car was unrecognisable. Despite that, no one was available to wash cars. We asked three times and were ready to pay, but nobody from staff came. The bathrooms are small, with no bathing partition, so the whole floor gets wet and slippery. Breakfast could have more choices, like parathas, live dosa counters, and sandwiches. A dedicated play area for children would also be nice.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The hospitality was extremely poor and customer service was practically nonexistent. Harish, who was presented as the manager, was especially unprofessional. He didn't communicate respectfully or resolve our concerns, and made an already frustrating stay worse. The hotel needs to improve its service standards and train its staff.
