I've travelled for years and never felt moved to review a place on Google before, but this was the worst stay I've had. The staff were rude and arrogant for no reason, and the room and bathroom were so dirty I couldn't use the shower. There were stains on the bedding, and they charged us a separate dry cleaning fee for a bit of dust on the duvet, which I don't know how it got there. We also didn't know at check-in that the price was 50 percent above the actual rate listed online. Don't spend your time and money here. There are much better places in the city.

The staff behaved well, and the rooms were clean, a good size, and comfortable. Food was very tasty, and parking is available. They also rent out scooties and have parking facilities.

The convenient location and friendly staff were the better parts of our average stay at Hotel North Star. The room upkeep and cleanliness need work, and the facilities felt somewhat dated even though they functioned. A few upgrades would improve the place.

I was here on a business trip. The hotel is close to udaipole bus stand, and the staff and services were very good. Rooms are nice and budget-friendly for solo travelers, families, and friends.

Being a solo woman traveler, I felt safe here, and the nearby Jain Mandir was a welcome plus. The hotel is right in central Udaipur, handy for seeing the city. I visited at the end of March and, as a Jain looking for vegetarian food, was glad to find a place run by Mr. Nikhil Doshi, who is also Jain. He was humble and kind, which made the stay feel personal. Staff were polite, quick, and responsive. After seeing two rooms, I got a nice one with a sunrise view and lift access. There were a few small snags: the jet spray holder was broken, the mirror was stained, and at first the pillow covers weren't up to standard. The staff replaced them quickly when I asked.
