The lady at the counter was polite, but the rooms were disgusting: cramped, with stained and torn sheets and dirty walls where the paint was peeling. They even kept used soap in the bathroom. I suspect the ratings and reviews are fake, since nobody seemed to visit the hotel. The restaurant was worse. It took hours to bring very ordinary food. The fried rice we ordered was stale, and the Parathas were like roasted cardboard. We sent the stale food back and were still charged heavily. The kitchen looked dirtier than the city drain, and it seemed they used whatever groceries had been lying around for months. No wonder all the other rooms were vacant. Book at your own risk.

There are plenty of food options, and the food is tasty enough to have you licking your fingers. Five people can eat here for around 1500. Service was very good, and the living rooms were clean. It’s the best hotel in Udaipur.

The cramped rooms had dirty linen, and the old building has only about four accommodations that don’t even fill up in peak season. This place made a disaster of our Udaipur trip. Couples should keep well away.

This really isn’t worth staying at. Some rooms have no windows, which made me feel claustrophobic. The air conditioner didn’t work as needed, and the TV channels the hotel manager had subscribed to weren’t working either.
