We stayed in a roomy, clean, comfortable suite and found the hotel good value for the price. The bathroom could have used more cleaning and maintenance, though it was adequate. Staff were friendly, attentive, and very helpful, and breakfast was adequate too. Our room looked out over a little bay on Lake Pichola. It’s an easy, pleasant walk to the old city, or a tuktuk can take you to the main bridge leading there. I’d return.

The rooftop is the main draw for me: lovely lake views in the evening, live music, and well prepared food. The hotel is centrally located, with good access, and you can see the lake from the rooftop and some rooms. It’s a good budget option if you won’t spend much time in the room. The staff cover the basics but could do better, and they provide just one bottle of water per room whether there are two or three guests. Our first room hadn’t been checked before check-in. Water from the EWC flowed out, which was awful. They moved us to another room right away, and the newer rooms are better, so choose accordingly. A check before guests arrive could have prevented the incident. The older rooms aren’t well maintained, and their bathrooms need an upgrade. It’s by the lake, but also next to a large Shahi Kabristan. Keep that in mind when booking if sleeping beside such a place may not suit you.

The rooftop area was fantastic, and the dining space is roomy with a stunning lake view. Our rooms were good, and the staff made us feel very welcome. It’s a beautiful, tranquil place, and we were sorry to leave.

We stayed four nights in suite room 201 and had a great time. It worked really well for our family, and my kid enjoyed it a lot. The breakfast was the best, and the food and bar were excellent. Staff were very friendly. Mr. Karan Singh gave us helpful guidance and suggested good places to visit in and near Udaipur. Go for the suite room.
