Mr. Jayesh Suthar was the first person we met, and he gave us a warm welcome and made sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. The rooftop view of the city at Ramvilas – A Rooftop Hotel in Udaipur made for a peaceful atmosphere, especially in the evening over a meal. The food was delicious, and the staff were polite, helpful, and ready to assist. We had a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend Ramvilas Rooftop Hotel to anyone visiting Udaipur.

Parking was a hassle. It’s street parking, and with the main road entrance closed, you have to use the rear entry and park on a nearby street. Booking ahead may help avoid the rush. The rooftop has its own charm, and the night view is mesmerizing, with Sajjangarh, Neemuch Mata hill, City Palace, Pichola Lake, and Karni Mata hill all in view. It’s near known landmarks and main crossroads, with road access. The soothing ambience and picture-perfect view make it a good restaurant. Food is good, though the starters were just okay. The veg lolipop was extra spicy, so children and some adults may not prefer it. Jai hind.

We were allowed to check in early, and since one of our rooms was still being prepared, the receptionist kindly upgraded it from deluxe to premium. It’s an affordable hotel that still feels luxurious for Udaipur. You can book here without any doubt.

Food at Big Pot was okay, though there are better options nearby. The stay itself was excellent: the rooms were clean, spacious, and well maintained, and the staff were polite and always ready to help. Ramvilas has a calm, relaxing feel, and I’d definitely recommend it for a peaceful, clean stay.

The rooftop views were really worth it, and we were comfortable throughout our two days there. The property has a heritage feel as soon as you enter, and the artifacts and decor are well maintained. Our attendant Jayeshbhai helped us with early check in, and we were also upgraded to premium rooms because of him. We were very happy with the stay.
