We had booked six rooms for 18 people and paid the full amount to Oyo, but when we arrived, the captain refused to hand over all the rooms. He argued that the rates we had paid were lower than the room rates and wouldn’t listen to us. We’d travelled from Mumbai to Udaipur and faced this after eight hours on the road. Very disappointed with the treatment from the captain and staff. Bad service. Don’t book this hotel.
I booked through Make my Trip 70 days ahead, but the manager or owner refused to give me the room, saying the tariff quoted by OYO was much lower. I arrived at night and had to pay a high price to stay. The amenities were so-so, nothing worth praising. I noticed the manager arguing and quarrelling with online customers every day. Never book this hotel online. Very poor experience. OYO should cancel its arrangement with this pathetic hotel.
The rooms were neat and clean, and I could see the city palace from mine. It was easy to get to the main tourist spots, and the food was great, especially the poha. The staff were humble and caring, with support around the clock. Good value for money. It felt like a second home, perfect for family and friends.
The service was prompt, the staff courteous, and the rooms large and very clean. The food was good too. Best budget hotel in Udaipur, and an excellent experience!
I called to confirm my online booking for four rooms because I wanted to be sure after reading the previous reviews. The person who answered behaved very badly and said the hotel had no tie-up with any website. If you’ve booked this hotel online, I suggest checking with the hotel directly. Very bad experience.
