The Space Hotel

The food was good, and we found the service excellent. We stayed for three days, and the staff were very cooperative. The hotel is right in the center, close to the main tourist spots, though it isn't by the lake. Our room was roomy, clean, and well ventilated, and I liked the colors and atmosphere. There’s a lobby on every floor. It really does live up to its name for space.

We booked a super deluxe room for our family trip to Udaipur in May 2014. The black and white design gives the hotel a look that feels different from other places. The room was clean, smelled nice, and had good ventilation, plus free Wi-Fi. Food was very good, and room service came quickly. Staff were helpful and behaved well. Tourist attractions and the railway station are conveniently nearby. The one downside is that there’s no lift. We had a very good stay and would recommend it.

The rates are reasonable, and the hotel’s small, cozy feel and attractive structure suit a family stay. I also liked the books and movies in the first-floor lobby. If you want something to do while spending time at the hotel, that’s a nice option. I’d recommend it for families.

There’s no restaurant, and parking is a real problem in this busy area since the hotel doesn’t provide it. The service was just okay, as was the hotel in general, and for the price I expected more. We booked for four people, but all of us were put in one room with an extra bed on the floor. That arrangement hadn’t been mentioned when we booked, which was very disappointing.
