Tripli Hotels Le Shelton

I had a wonderful two-day stay. The room was clean, neat, and well maintained, and the staff were very helpful and cooperative throughout. I’d recommend this place for a comfortable, pleasant visit.

Fateh Singh ji at reception was very nice. Before arriving at Le shelton, I asked if they could boil and cook food for my baby. He promised they would, and the hotel prepared food for my 10 month baby girl without any problem. Thanks to Fateh Singh ji and the cooking staff, especially Karthik bhai, who prepared the food just as I’d asked. I recommend tripli hotels Le shelton to anyone staying in udaipur. My ratings: room 5 out of 5, service 5 out of 5, location 3 out of 5.

The rooms are small, but decent, and the staff are doing a good job. The price still feels high for the room. Train tracks are nearby, and in winter the noise sometimes disturbed my sleep at night. Hot water was the bigger problem. I was told the hotel relies only on solar heating. With the rooms full and winter temperatures around 7-8°C, I had to put up with cold showers a couple of times. For this room price, there should be a backup for such a basic facility.

The hotel’s strongest point is its location: it’s convenient and well connected, and close to The Nataraj dining hall and restaurant. The food was good in both quality and quantity, and the service was good too. It’s an okay place for a couple of nights if you mainly need somewhere to sleep. My room was narrow and felt cramped for three of us, including my wife and 8 yo kid. It definitely couldn’t fit three adults. I think I was given the wrong room: booking.com listed a queen and a twin bed for a SUPERIOR DOUBLE room, but I got one king bed and very little space to move. I paid approximately 5800 for two nights, with no breakfast included, and had to pay separately for it. The rooftop pool seemed more for show than use. It was like a kids pool, closed for repairs when I visited, and didn’t look properly maintained. The location is what earns the hotel most of its good points.
